The Adamastor Dispatch - Enter Portugal, 1941

Dear Readers,

I have put in motion big changes with my website. While the address (URL) remains the same, I have given Cavalarico.com a new title, Adamastor World, and I’m making it into a site that welcomes visitors to Enter Portugal, 1941 and discover the world of Breath of the Adamastor.

Yes, Breath of the Adamastor is the hero product. The focus is on the protagonist, Ardis Lowney, her mission in espionage, and her passion to save sea turtles as well as the missions and passions of her fellow characters, namely Xisco Ribeiro, Carlos Silva, and the others.

The new title, Adamastor World, may suggest the site is a theme park or a big tent, and that’s okay. Novelists engage in world-building. Adamastor World houses the characters, activities, places, and ideas that adorn a literary work and give it meaning. Naturally, such a display is for others to discover. It’s not just a showpiece. It’s a place for discourse. Got anything to add?

Enter Adamastor World and discover Portugal, 1941

On the home page, you are invited to read a preview of the first four chapters of Breath of the Adamastor, which new visitors will receive free via The Adamastor Dispatch.

By the way, if you did read A Life on Water (the First Edition) you may be interested in reading this PDF. It contains the first chapter which I revised extensively for the Second Edition, that is, Breath of the Adamastor.

I am working on a sequel that picks up where Ardis Lowney in Breath of the Adamastor left off—in Brazil. As part of the world-building underway, new stories are taking shape. So, would you also like to receive more about Ardis and Brazil during the coming months?

This is the plan. How the sequel and the website turn out could surprise me, too. Thank you for coming along.

Warm regards,
Tim
